We’re looking for an experienced Solution Architect with a strong focus on SAP technologies to support a major digital transformation program in the European energy and infrastructure sector.
You’ll be part of a cross-border architecture team shaping a modern SAP S/4HANA landscape, ensuring technology solutions are scalable, resilient, and future-ready.
This is a high-impact role within a complex IT ecosystem spanning multiple business units and countries. You’ll design integrated SAP and non-SAP solutions, drive modernization initiatives, and serve as the architectural bridge between business, IT, and product teams.
What You’ll Do
- Define and maintain end-to-end architecture for SAP and integrated systems across multiple domains.
- Support product teams in designing realizable, scalable solutions within the SAP ecosystem.
- Contribute to architecture governance, design reviews, and documentation of the current and future IT landscape.
- Act as an advisor to enterprise, domain, and solution architects, assessing when SAP is the right solution.
- Translate business and technical requirements into Solution Building Blocks and architecture artifacts.
- Deliver architecture designs following established standards, patterns, and governance frameworks.
- Align with all relevant stakeholders across business, product, and architecture teams to ensure architectural consistency.
- Leverage experience in integration design, application architecture, and solution blueprinting.
What are we looking for?
- 6+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, ideally in large enterprise or transformation contexts.
- Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA architecture and related digital transformation projects.
- Experience designing resilient, scalable, and integrated SAP/non-SAP solutions.
- Deep understanding of core SAP modules, integration protocols, and SAP integration technologies (process, data, event-based).
- Knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA migration, and SAP development frameworks.
- Strong ability to document and maintain architecture blueprints (business, application, and data views).
- Familiarity with ArchiMate, TOGAF, and architecture trade-off techniques (ADR, ATAM, CBAM).
- Experience with Enterprise Architect (Sparx) or similar modeling tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Nice-to-Have Skills
- SAP certifications (e.g. SAP Enterprise Architect, SAP BTP Solution Architect).
- Knowledge of French, Dutch, or German – multilingual communication is an asset.
- Experience working in Agile environments or product-oriented organizations.
- Cross-border collaboration experience in European digital transformation initiatives.
What do we offer?
- Location: Brussels region (on-site presence required at least 2 days/week, typically Tuesdays).
- Occasional travel: Berlin (approx. 2 days every other week).
