Join an exciting project that significantly contributes to the ambitions for the Energy Transition in Europe and Belgium. This initiative is focused on extending the offshore high voltage grid, specifically through the construction of an artificial energy island and connecting new windfarms.
As an ideal candidate, you are a proficient HV Coordinator with extensive experience in managing HV equipment installation, testing, and commissioning on-site. Your expertise in working within multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple disciplines will be essential for the success of this project.
- You report directly to the construction manager for day-to-day activities, ensuring transparency and alignment on milestones.
- You act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) on the Yard for all Free Issued Material (FIM) related topics.
- You supervise the day-to-day schedule and oversee site activities for HV/LV equipment integration, including installation, testing, and commissioning.
- You coordinate with Elia client representatives for FIM-related tasks and deliverables.
- You monitor site conditions to facilitate FIM supplier activities effectively.
- You interface with the engineering team to resolve technical queries and ensure alignment with design.
- You prepare weekly and monthly reports in collaboration with the construction manager.
What are we looking for?
- You have at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
- You possess a strong expertise in commissioning of HV equipment (HV transformers, HV GIS).
- You have experience managing multiple disciplines/parties on-site.
- You hold a Master's degree in Electromechanical Engineering.
- You possess a VCA VOL/SCC certificate.
- You have excellent skills in MS Office, able to write well-structured reports and manage incoming reports efficiently.
- You possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- You are safety and quality-minded with a structured approach to work.
- You are proficient in English and fluent in Dutch is a plus.
