We are looking for a skilled Storage & Backup Administrator to ensure the seamless availability of storage infrastructure in a complex, global IT environment of a world renowned client. You will manage backups and restores, monitor system performance, and contribute to a highly reliable and secure IT landscape.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous availability of global storage infrastructure components in line with security and technical standards.
  • Manage daily backups and restores of mission-critical environments.
  • Monitor alerts, incidents, and performance issues, ensuring timely resolution within SLA targets.
  • Contribute to automation by scripting and optimizing operational tasks.
  • Support high availability and disaster recovery concepts across storage systems.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in SAN and central storage array systems.
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems (main platform for storage software components).
  • Understanding of high availability concepts.
  • Medium-level scripting experience to automate tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute within SLA requirements.
